This friendly community has a rural feel yet it's only around 30 minutes drive to Kamloops, giving residents the best of both worlds. The roads are maintained year round and cleared of snow in the winter, plus the community is served by the school bus, hydro, and phone. This is a great place to work from home, surrounded by beautiful scenery, amazing blue skies, and plenty of wildlife. The home has been fitted with satellite broadband (over $1000 of equipment included with the sale) so no more waiting for dial up! There's a hundred or so homes up here though many of these are not occupied year round. There are still a lot of families who live here year round as well, and there's a strong community feel - people help each other out, there's usually fireworks by the lake at New Year's, and plenty of BBQ's and get-togethers!
